There is now a few days left to apply for 90 thousand recruits in the Railways. The last date for applying is March 31. Group C (Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician) 26502 posts () are to be recruited while Group D has 62,907 vacancies. An assistant loco pilot has 17673 vacancies while Technician has 8829 vacancies. This is the biggest recruitment process of the railway so far.
Here we tell you 10 special things related to the application -
1. Online application only - Application for these posts can be done only by online mode. Before applying, keep scanning the necessary documents already. You must upload them when applying.
2. A candidate can only apply for a Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
In view of the vacancy and your qualifications, you have to go to the respective RRB Zone website.
There are various regional boards of RRBs whose 16 websites you can apply.

3. Vacancy table
Before applying, you must see the CEN Vacancy Table. For the post you want to apply, you will receive information from the vacancies table for the essential qualifications. You can check it on the various related RRB websites.
4. stay alert
All messages will be sent to your email id and mobile number. After applying, you can not change the registration number, selected RRB, email id, and mobile number. In this case, after you have done, keep checking your email id and mobile message box. Keep checking your regional RRB website continuously.
5. Application changes
After the application process is complete, you can change the information given in the event of need, but for this, you have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 250. This fee is to be given to all categories of candidates and no one will get any discount. Apart from this, you can not change registration number, selected RRB, email id, and mobile number.
5. Where to apply
If you are applying for Assistant Loco Pilot (LLP) and Technician, then you have to go to the website of the RRB zone you have selected. Click here for submission of Online Application against (CEN) No. The link related to 01/2018 will have to be clicked on. And if you have to apply for the posts of group D, you can click here for submission of Online Application (CEN) No. 02/2018 link will have to be clicked on.
6. After selecting RRB Zone,
the directions form will appear on your screen. Read it and subscribe by clicking on the two checkboxes given below. After that, your registration form will open. In the registration stage, fill in basic information like your name, birthdate, base number, father's name, mobile number, email id. After entering all the details, an OTP number will appear on your mobile number and email ID. By entering this, your registration number will be generated.
7. Click the Candidate Login link on the home page.
Here the candidates will fill information like their qualification, community, religion, gender.
8. After that, the payment stage will come.
Candidates can make online payment of examination fee. These payments can be made with net banking/credit card. Apart from this, it can also be filled through SBI Bank invoice and post office invoice.
9. Post Preference Stage-
If the candidate is eligible to apply for more than one position, then he can select the positions according to priority by clicking on Set Preference.
10. You will have to upload your passport size photograph, a photo of signature and the scanned copies of the photographs of various documents on the website. All scanned copy should be in JPEG format. Passport size should be photo color and the size should be between 20 to 50KB.
If you are applying for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and Technician then size should be 15 to 40KB. Copy of documents should also be in JPEG format and size 50 to 100KB.
After filling all the stages, you must take the print out of your application. Admit cards will be issued on the respective RRB Zone website about 10 days before the date of examination. This information will be given to you by SMS / Email ID. You will have to reach the examination center by print out the e-Admit Card. Do not forget to bring your photo ID with the e-admit card. Otherwise, the examination will not be allowed to sit.
